Michael Williams, Director...
Michael is a UK Chartered Accountant with thirty years of experience, including nine years of public accounting experience in the Big 4 in three countries. Interestingly enough, he is an alum of all four Big 4 firms, which makes for a comprehensive business network. Michael has worked in Fortune 500 companies, been a public company Controller, and CFO of a VC funded technology company here in San Francisco, but his most interesting role was as Head of Finance of a NFL football team.
Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wales, where he played chess in international competition, and later played Football (not Soccer) starting on the Offensive Line in the inaugural UK National Championship Game. After twenty years in the US he remains a passionate supporter of Welsh Rugby, and Swansea City Soccer Club.
Michael is the proud father of a nine year old boy, with whom he attends Giants, Warriors and Sharks games, although they have different opinions as to the relative merits of the Forty-Niners and Raiders. He also is also passionate about charities assisting autistic children and their families.
